Freedom and Responsiblity
I've been absolutely obsessed the past few days with the whole Electronic Arts vs. Fox News controversy. It started a little while back with a columnist named Kevin McCullough ranting about so called graphic sexual acts or what not in the game Mass Effect. I'd post a link but apparently his host website (www.townhall.com) has deleted his piece and everything to do with it.
Now Fox News has decided to continue where Mr. McCullough left off with this latest "report":

Surprisingly Electronic Arts has filed complaints against Fox News and has asked that they go on air to correct their inaccuracies concerning the game which of course they haven't. However the psychology "expert" has gone on record and apologized for her judgment. http://kotaku.com/349296/ea-vs-fox-lawrence-recants-mass-effect-judgement
I'm sure it had absolutely nothing to do with gamers giving her book bad reviews on Amazon.com.

You know, I know everyone has a right to their opinion but if you're just going to make an opinion about something you've never played, watched, or heard then you're just talking shit.
Freedom of speech does not mean you can say whatever the hell you want.
It's one thing to be concerned about the effects of video game violence but to spew completely false inaccuracies and lies is downright irresponsible especially when it's coming from a FUCKING JOURNALIST.
